Investigative Reporting

 

Selay is a frequent speaker/attendee of the GIJC (Global Investigative Journalism Conference) and the AIJC (African Investigative Journalism Conference). He is conversant with the serious challenges faced by many developing countries towards the achievement of peace, democracy and development. He has reported on various developments issues including development aid, corruption cases, money laundering, illicit financial flows, corporate fraud, bad governance, organized crime, human rights violations, and child trafficking.

 

One of Selay's investigative pieces was selected among the best reports -from hundreds of entrants- and published in the Anthology of African Investigative Journalism - ‘‘African Muckraking: 75 Years of Investigative Journalism from Africa’’, edited by Anya Schiffrin.
